Why Teachmix?
With Teachmix you are able to develop your mixing skills at your own speed on a schedule that suits you & your lifestyle.
Why Vinyl?
Pros: Original, warm sound plus respect from all the other djs
Cons: Expensive to buy music, vinyl slowly wear out & heavy to carry to a gig
Why CD?
Pros: Perfect sound quality, cheap music plus easy to carry to gigs
Cons: Pro CD decks are expensive
What if I get stuck?
Included within your Teachmix CD/Vinyl pack there is a DVD.
This DVD includes video demos and can be referred to along with our instruction booklet. This will help you should you get stuck on any points.
What equipment do I need?
To complete Teachmix you will need to own or have access to a pair of Vinyl/CD decks, a dj mixer, headphones and speakers.
Who can learn?
The simple answer is anyone.
Young or old, boy or girl, we have had a wide range of people successfully learn to mix with Teachmix.
Do I need experience?
No. But if you have never seen someone mixing before you should watch just to grasp the basics and hear the results.
How long it will take?
This is really dependent on the individual.
Using Teachmix we have found to get your first mix in time will take between 1 – 4 hours.
Where can I learn?
Wherever there are a set of working turntables / CD decks you will be able to learn. Whether that is your friend's, at a club or at home the possibilities are endless.
How long does delivery take?
Once you have placed your order, we aim to deliver the product within 21 working days. This also depends on availability of the product at the time of your order.
What genre of DJing does Teachmix teach?
Teachmix is not genre specific. It teaches you with tracks ranging from 126bpm – 134bpm with a four to the floor beat structure. After you learn with TM you can go onto mix any other music type.
